DONS ANNOUNCE POMS

the AFC supporters club today announced their player of the month awards.

first of all the young player of the month went to S_Dean. He has been fabulous all season at the back and has chipped in with a few goals too. he has really taken on a lot of responsibility since captain bentham left in the first iwc window.

the overall player of the month was awarded to M_Owen. there was competion from all over the park for this one but owens recent goals haul gives him
the edge. xavi would have perhaps gotte it if he hadnt been serving a suspension.

well done to these 2 players and all the best for the rest of the season for them and all the squad.

ARSENAL AND ARSCOTT IN IT UP TO THEIR NECKS!!

Both arsenal and arscott seem to be struggling both on and off the field. today arsenal failed to win for the 5th consecutive match as they went down to prem title hopefuls Cardiff city in a thrilling 4-3 cliff-hanger. arsenal led the match 3-1 at one stage and looked good to collect all 3 points but the teams lack of defensive talent showed through and Cardiff got the scoring boots on to put 3 past them in a very short period of time.
This now means arsenal have failed to win in 5 and doubts must be in the minds of both the board and the fans if arscotts heart is still in it after 5 seasons at the club.

sqd wise every thing is good. with a host of world class players at the club the results should be a lot better. a lot of harsh luck has made things tougher but that's not an excuse at this level. sitting in 4th place a good 7 points off the pace is simply not good enough when fans are expecting to be fighting it out for the title. arscotts transfer antics have also made life very hard with the tight suspension rules for players who have previously moved but this was all known when the players where signed so cant be used as a excuse. big players have joined but cant play for 2 games and with the sqd already being stretched with injuries its made things near impossible and the team cant gel.

off the pitch things are no better. players not getting on is all over the papers and with the players publicly slating the manager things are not looking good. the transfer policy at the club has always been a strange one with players barely staying half a season but its always seemed to work for arscott until now. with so many top players personalities have started to clash and arscott cant seem to iron out the creases as he has over the years.

rumours are also ripe about arscotts possible link to div3 strugglers Liverpool who are looking for a man to turn the great club around and arscott is rumoured to be the number one target for the scouse club and with the current situation at the emirates no one would be surprised if arscott through in the towel to join a big club who are struggling.
