Season Eight Awards
Overall manager of
the year = £5,000,000
Overall Manager of the
year
As voted by other Britwing managers
Matt Birch of Bradford
City pipped the voting from a tremendous achievement of Derby County.
Matt
has truly forged an excellent squad that every team wants to beat (but rarely
does)
His continued support and gamesmanship is an excellent tribute to the
game.
Season 8 saw Bradford bring home silverware and that's the deciding
factor in most peoples votes.
Div 1 Champions and FA Cup winners, Bradford
are now a top seed side in PBEMFF who could go all the way next season in all
competitions if the forums opinions count for anything.
Well done Matt
a truly magnificent season to put Bradford firmly on the map. But I must have
mention to a truly awesome achievement from a quality guy Graham at Derby to come
in and take on a dead loss in Derby County and make them a Premiership Winning
team after being bottom of all divisions with successive promotions deserves a
huge accolade and should be a lesson to all aspiring managers. Put in the time
and effort and anything can be possible. So many managers come into the game and
give up so quickly because they think their squad is a no hoper let this be proof
that anything is possible.
A few comments from other managers on
Bradfords Season. . . . . .
"Really tough one this
season with
a lot of managers doing good things. Graham at Derby's done
really well winning
the Prem with ahead of teams like Dundee Utd and Cardiff
but Matt at Bradford
with his league and cup double seals my vote."
"Birchy at Bradford,
for FA Cup and League title"
"Matt Birch - Bradford. Matty is
one of the most active users on the forum, always coming up with new idea's and
involved in a bit of banter, and he's a nice guy. Won a tough Div1 to make it
3 promotions in a row and won the FA Cup by beating no fewer than 3 Prem teams.
Great year for him"
"great season promotion and FA cup "
and
finally and very fitting
"Although I'm not fond of matts tactics,
you cant deny he's had an excellent
season. success is success and if you
have to be a boring c**t to get it then
I suppose you have to. A division
1 championship and a cup win is excellent
and he has continuously built so
that he will be strong enough for the
premier."
