Overall Manager of the year
As voted by other Britwing managers

Possibly the closest fought season for the accolade with three managers all getting great mentions from the fellow league managers.

Aberdeen were nominated by many mangers for outstanding contribution to the game, seeing Aberdeen transformed over 2 seasons to be a force to be reckoned with. Well done to Stu for that.

Fellow Scot, Andy Grant was pipped into runners up spot after an awesome record breaking season, with the most league points ever in recent times and from making the Arabs a major presence everyone wants to avoid.

But this seasons Manager of the Season vote goes to long time pbemff veteran Jim Leslie. Jim has stuck it out with Southampton for many seasons now always being pipped for promotion but steadily growing. This season has seen Southampton WIN silverware in the FA Cup beating some massive opponents on the way. They are also now sitting in the top flight after securing promotion to the prem so well done Jim you are he Brit wings Vote for Manager of the Season.

A few comments from other managers on Southampton's Season. . . . . .

"Jim at Southampton
Spent ages at Southampton doing bugger all, now find themselves in the Prem next season and also finished runners up in the cup, worth a shout in my book, rather than one of the big boys.
."

"Twat-face (Southampton) - Spawny c**t being the first to reach a f***ing final. At least he didn't fluke it. Bastard. At least it goes to an Englishman and not some utter *@~£$$**. Or *~~£$ at ****$$%. C**t."
Not sure who that one was from but not very publishable.

"Jim Leslie (Saints)
With no truly outstanding candidate for this seasons honor Jim gets it for taking his ragamuffin crew to the final of the FA Cup and into the Premiership."

"I’d like to nominate Southampton - - - It had to be between Dundee Utd and Southampton but Soton have achieved more with a lesser squad. Dundee U should really clean up with their squad"

"Southampton wasn't picked by anyone for great success this season, but he
got promotion and got to the FA Cup Final. Two great achievements, and a
worthy Manager of the Season."

"Often not the prettiest football ever, with brutal all-out attacks followed
by often long periods of all-out defense, but effective enough to secure an
FA Cup final spot and promotion to the Premiership. And every now and then
they changed their tactics/formation to something unexpected, to keep their
opponents on the their toes. After this very successful season they are
well-set for the future, with their first-team's average age being pretty
respectable and some very promising youngsters coming up through their
academy."

"My vote goes to Southampton Based on their squad, they’ve done very well to get promotion to the Prem and even better to get to the final of the FA Cup and push Derby all the way"
