At any point during the season you may retire any players aged 35 or under. You will receive payment for the retiring player dependant on his age and stats. The amount you receive is worked out as follows,

£10,000 per year they are under 35 plus £20,000 per stat point (Goalkeepers receive £25,000 per stat point)

E.g. T_Tosspot 24 eng 1 8 4 4 = £450,000

K_Keeper 21 eng 9 1 1 1 = £440,000

To buy a retired player the cost is worked out the same way.
